School Counselor

Janey Friedrich, the family support worker, works with students and their families or caregivers to find solutions to improve their quality of life.  She works flexible hours, and is able to counsel at the request of a parent or caregiver, or teacher.  She aims to build strength in the family unit through home visits, discussions and problem solving strategies.

As the school counselor, Mrs. Friedrich works with students to address a variety of growing up issues that may interfere with their personal, social or academic life. Referrals for service can be made by students, parents and teachers.  For an appointment, please call (306) 445-3661.​
